Severin KA 4825 TypeSwitch Filter Coffee Machine - Description

Choose your coffee strength to match the time of day with the Severin KA 4825 TypeSwitch coffee machine, a smartly finished machine built for genuinely everyday use.

Key features

  • AromaSwitch – choose between a bolder morning brew and a milder afternoon coffee
  • Fast brewing – an effective heating element of up to 1,000 W
  • Quality design – an elegant machine with stainless steel accents
  • Glass carafe with fresh-water scale – an ergonomic handle for comfortable pouring
  • Practical swivel filter – a removable 1 x 4 filter insert for easy filling and cleaning
  • Comfortable extras – drip stop, a water level gauge visible from both sides, and automatic shut-off

Why the switchable strength helps

Not every coffee needs to be the same strength, and the AromaSwitch means you can brew something stronger to get going in the morning and something gentler for an afternoon cup, without changing machines or guessing at the grounds-to-water ratio. The up to 1,000 W heating element keeps either brew coming through quickly.

The glass carafe’s fresh-water scale and ergonomic handle make filling and pouring comfortable, and the swivel filter’s removable 1 x 4 insert keeps both those jobs, plus cleaning afterwards, genuinely simple. The drip stop lets you lift the carafe out mid-brew for an early cup without coffee dripping onto the warming plate, while the water gauge visible from both sides gives a clear view of how much water you’ve added no matter where you’re standing.

Technical highlights

  • Power: up to 1,000 W
  • Filter: swivel filter with removable 1 x 4 insert
  • Water gauge: visible from both sides
  • Automatic shut-off after brewing

Can I brew a milder coffee for later in the day without a separate machine? Yes – the AromaSwitch function is built specifically for that, letting you choose a gentler brew for the afternoon on the same machine you used that morning.

This coffee machine is refurbished and tested for full function; it may show light cosmetic signs of previous use and/or a packaging that has been opened or damaged. It’s backed by a Min 12-month warranty, so there’s plenty of time to settle into using it, and it’s More sustainable vs new.
